Dr. Brandi Slapkunas

Dr. Brandi Slapkunas is originally a native of Georgiana, AL. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She continued on to attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry and graduated Cum Laude with her Doctorate of Optometry (O.D.) in 2011. 

Dr. Slapkunas previously worked at Gulf Coast Vision from 2011 to 2019. As a military spouse, her husband Ray was stationed at various locations throughout the US. Along with their daughter Grace, the family has completed recent assignments at Peterson Air Force Base, CO and in San Diego, CA. Dr. Slapkunas continued to practice optometry at Pike Peak Optometry and is now happy to return to the Gulf Coast and rejoin Gulf Coast Vision Center. 

Dr. Brandi Slapkunas provides comprehensive eye care treatment including diabetic eye care, pre and post operation consults for cataracts and LASIK procedures, fitting glasses and contact lenses, and ocular disease.
